Where did you work before Trinity Ventures?
I joined Yammer as the third member of the Product Marketing team in 2011. While there, I worked on over 100 product releases, helped build our public website, and planned a very fun hackathon dedicated to building innovative applications on the Yammer Platform. After we were acquired by Microsoft I stayed on the Product team until 2013 when I left to attend business school.
Prior to Yammer I worked for Fahrenheit 212, a New York-based innovation consulting firm that helped Fortune 500 companies develop new products, businesses and brands. Before that I was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company where I worked primarily with medical technology manufacturers & financial institutions.
What made you decide to join a VC firm?
I am inspired by technology, and the people that build it, for the way it has driven progress in the world. As a student of History, I’ve studied how societies have changed over time due to the infiltration of technology. Working with and being around people that value innovation and change is what excites me more than anything. As a VC I get to focus my time on learning about the future, and being around people that I tremendously admire for their passion towards changing the world.
What do you like to do you in your free time?
I’m an avid runner and cyclist, and recently started swimming in the bay. In my free time I also love to paint, spend time with my family, and study the history of San Francisco.
