About Neil Daswani
Neil Daswani is an Executive in Residence at Trinity Ventures where he leverages his deeply rooted DNA in security research and development, along with entrepreneurial and operating experience, to identify game-changing opportunities to protect consumers and enterprises from the ever-evolving cyber-threat landscape.
Neil is a Co-Director of the Stanford Advanced Security Program, and in the past has served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Symantec’s Consumer Business Unit and at LifeLock, in addition to a variety of research, development, teaching, and managerial roles at Twitter, Dasient, Google, Yodlee, and Bell Communications Research.
Neil has published dozens of technical articles in top academic and industry conferences and has been granted over a dozen U.S. patents. He is also a co-author of "Foundations of Security: What Every Programmer Needs To Know."
Neil earned Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science at Stanford University and holds a B.S. in Computer Science with honors with distinction from Columbia University.
